A Day in the Life of an Apprentice Plumber at Nebraska Plumbing:
A typical workday begins between six and seven in the morning. Apprentices report to the jobsite to which they are assigned. They will work with and learn from experienced Journeyman Plumbers while they assemble, install, or repair plumbing systems, both indoors and outdoors. Their days consist of routine lifting and mostly standing.
From August through May, apprentices attend plumbing school two nights a week. Like we mentioned above, Nebraska Plumbing pays for all tuition and books. When our apprentices graduate the four-year program, they will not have any student-loans. The company even pays the fees for apprentices to take their licensing exam!
What Happens When You Get Your Plumbing License?
Nebraska Plumbing takes education of employees very seriously. We take pride in the fact that the majority of our 4th year apprentices pass the Journeyman Test on their first try. Once you pass the test, you will receive a company vehicle to drive to and from work. You will be managing jobsites and training apprentices. And you are no longer required to attend classes two nights a week!
Our Licensed Plumbers Earn Anywhere From $85000 to $120000 A Year!!

What an Ideal Candidate Offers Nebraska Plumbing:
- Must be at least 18 years old
